Caller driven program today.  Topics included the property tax bill on the ballot January 29th, and the Citizens' Initiative being championed by Florida Speaker of the House, Marco Rubio.

Today we compiled a "Taxpayer's Wish List."  The following listeners, and their wishes, made this a fun Christmas Eve program:

3. Laura- Wishes that we would get out of the U.N., that there would be a tax cut across the board, and that Ron Raul and Duncan Hunter would be running mates.

5. Liz- Wished that we would do something to prevent "Vote-scam."
6. Jean- Wished that taxation would occur WITH TRUE representation!
7. Ray- Wished that people would repent and turn back to Jesus Christ.

9. Dick- Wished that when the IRS loses a lawsuit for the transcript of the case to be published and made available to the public.
10. Don- Wished for people to realize the the government is not Santa Claus.
11. Sonny- Wished that we would, once again, have a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people."
12. Marilyn- Wished that we would all remember the free gift of Jesus Christ and that we would all remember all the good things about the United States.
13. Bill- Wished that the Taxpayers Action Group would expand and that elected officials would actually read the U.S. Constitution.
14. Jo- Called to compliment the positive broadcasts typical of WOCA.

Today's program began with a recording of a Christmas message from comedian Jackie Mason.  The remainder of the program was caller driven and touched on issues relevant to the presidential campaigns and a bill to ban incandescent lightbulbs by the year 2020.

Special guest, State Representative Kurt Kelly, spoke about the issues he is addressing in Tallahassee including desalination options and legislation that would give law enforcement the tools necessary to intervene in a domestic type situation between dating individuals.  Representative Kelly also answered questions and responded to statements from listeners.

Marion County Sheriff Ed Dean was our guest and fielded questions from listeners about the Sheriff's Department.

We remembered Pearl Harbor on today's program.  We also compared the world as it looked in 1941 to the world we live in today and discussed the importance of remembering the course of events that led to World War II to, hopefully, prevent World War III.
