larry, you don't seem too convinced about the demise of the show..it has been neat to be able to debate real-time subjects, war, torture, fear,religion etcetera..east meet west, north and south, young and old...you did have more than one request to bring people to studio for in person discussion, oh well?
one criticism, our freedom of speech, should not be associated with profit. The most listened to station in central florida, is an FM station with sponsors at a profit, and was instrumental in running toupee-keller, and election electronic vote burglar feeney out of town on a rail!! A liberal station (kind of) and more specifically The Philips File! on 104.1 FM, from 1400-1900hrs(?). Must be profitable, more than ten years running.
I do hope stearns did not shore up the decision to stop the show...
I know I'm kinda rough, or provocative, but a thousand lions led by a sheep are not to be feared as much as a thousand sheep led by a lion. The show be done, but I will make this a democratic bastion someday..sorry cliff! Marine vs air force!
Who would you rather have fighting for you? Randy Harris, would make a better congressman, that comes from a Kennedy democrat. Ciao..
Daytona, has a show like the one you guys are proposing, with many great cruise deals...which Would be popular here! So push your sales staff towards that and maybe flight deals, plus college course deals from community colleges..maybe eye surgery/LASIK deals, family pkgs? Sports events, semi pro baseball league deals, and hotel pkgs with restaurant pkgs, st augustine, fernandina beach and blue man group type shows in disney....peace
