Who was Crispus Attucks? Did this escaped slave and 47 year old veteran help start the American revolution? When Crispus lead a group of colonist to protest British sailors of abuse and taking of American jobs! In 1770 Attucks was the first shot to die in the Boston massacre, five years later america was in it's revolution of respect, the birth of a nation for all it's people.
Over six thousand black Americans fought for it's independence. The us civil war saw over 27,000 black soldiers die for their freedom and our respect. Over 230,000 black soldiers served for their freedom and to end slavery not only in America, but the whole world was watching.
In world war two, over one million black soldiers served, and over 2.5 million black Americans registered to serve.
Korea and Vietnam were no exception however the new question seems to be the justification and legalization of wars. Thank goodness! Without the struggle of freedom for ALL, could Barack be president today ?
Black Americans liberated America from slavery, Black Americans liberated Europe and the East from the fascism of hitler and hirohito, will they ever be praised for this? will their descendants be paid for building the Capitol and the white house. My vote for Barack was to land on the right side of history, all created equal..
